Matt oversees every stage of the multifamily development process and has been involved in developing over 2,300 units since joining Hillwood. Matt is also a key player in Hillwood’s land acquisition strategy for the company’s multifamily portfolio.
Before Hillwood, Matt worked in multifamily construction for Camden Property Trust, managing the construction of three multifamily developments across Texas totaling 800 units and the repositioning of a 1,600-bed student housing project.
Outside of Hillwood, Matt is actively involved in the Greater Fort Worth Real Estate Council, the Aggie Real Estate Network, and the Urban Land Institute. He is also a member of the Greater Denton/Wise County Association of Realtors and the National Multi-Housing Council.
