An influential industry leader, Mike Berry began his real estate career in North Texas in 1982 and has been involved in real estate development projects for over 37 years.

Berry joined Hillwood in July 1988 - the year ground was broken for Alliance Airport, a concept he helped pioneer and transform from an industrial airport into the 26,000-acre thriving master-planned community and global logistics hub known today as AllianceTexas. Under his leadership, AllianceTexas has grown into a thriving center of industrial, office, retail and residential activity, generating an economic impact of approximately $76 billion on North Texas.

In addition to leading efforts for AllianceTexas, Berry heads the Hillwood Urban team. This specialized Hillwood group focuses on corporate office and mixed-use development in Downtown and Uptown Dallas, as well as new investment and development opportunities in the North Texas market.

Berry’s versatile experience in complex public-private partnerships and holistic approach to creating large master-planned developments has been instrumental in Hillwood’s success. In 2015, Berry and the Hillwood team announced the launch of Frisco Station, a 242-acre high-density mixed-use development in Frisco, Texas, in partnership with VanTrust Real Estate and The Rudman Partnership.

Berry’s imprint on the North Texas landscape has earned him numerous honors throughout his career, including his induction into the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors Hall of Fame and his receiving The Golden Deeds Award in 2016. Berry currently resides in Fort Worth with his wife and four daughters.

Tom Harris has been an integral part of the development and success of AllianceTexas. With more than 28 years of tenure with Hillwood, Harris has touched every aspect of the business.

Harris began his career with Hillwood in 1990 at the Fort Worth Alliance Airport, the world’s first industrial airport. Harris worked to establish and grow the airport’s fixed base operation and airport management companies into world class operations.

In 2000, Harris moved to direct the operations and administration for the real estate business of the AllianceTexas development, which included: property and land management, aerospace and aviation business development, community relations, office administration, security, special events and owners’ association activities. In his role as Senior Vice President of Operations, Harris was also responsible for launching and overseeing Hillwood’s latest success, Alliance Landscape Company; an initiative to provide more efficient and economical high-quality landscape and irrigation solutions to AllianceTexas customers. He continues to oversee that business today.

In 2012, Harris rejoined the Fort Worth Alliance Airport as President of Aviation Services. In this role, Harris is responsible for the management and oversight of Alliance Airport and leads the Alliance Aviation Services team, the fixed base operation at Alliance.

Harris also oversees the production of the Fort Worth Alliance Air Show. This air show is recognized as one of the best civilian produced shows in the country. Harris and his wife Ellen are also the co-founders of the Jordan Elizabeth Harris Foundation, a non-profit organization that raises funds for depression research efforts, advocates on behalf of families who have lost loved ones to suicide and supports the local chapter of Mental Health America, now affiliated with MHMR.

Before joining Hillwood, Harris served as manager of operations and maintenance for the City of Austin Aviation Department. He additionally worked at airports in Boston, Dallas/Fort Worth and Austin in various management positions for LSG/SkyChefs airline catering activities for several major airlines.

Bill Burton serves as Executive Vice President of Hillwood, developer of AllianceTexas. Burton joined Hillwood in January 1989 and has been a key player in the transformation of AllianceTexas from raw ranch land to an 26,000-acre, master-planned development that is home to more than 500 major companies.

Burton oversees building development and marketing efforts for office, industrial, retail and land assets at AllianceTexas. His expertise includes master planning, building development, sales, leasing, marketing, economic development, and negotiation. He has directed build-to-suit and lease transactions totaling more than 20 million square feet with companies such as Amazon Fulfillment, AT&T Nokia, Bridgestone-Firestone, General Mills, Mercedes-Benz Financial Services and Volkswagen of America. In addition, he has managed portfolio sales in excess of 1 billion dollars and coordinated more than 1,800 acres of land sale transactions with companies such as Citigroup, Deloitte, Fidelity Investments, Intel, KRAFT Foods, and more.

Serving as Executive Vice President of Hillwood, Russell Laughlin oversees the management, operation, land and infrastructure planning, and entitlements of AllianceTexas, a 26,000-acre mixed-use, master-planned community. In addition to his core Alliance responsibilities, Russell is actively involved in all development activities related to Frisco Station. Charlie Campbell serves as Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration for Hillwood, developer of AllianceTexas. Campbell’s responsibilities include managing the accounting and reporting for entities comprising more than $1.2 billion in asset value, as well as directing the overall financial strategy for AllianceTexas. In addition, he oversees the daily operations and property management of an almost 20 million square foot multi-product real estate portfolio.

Campbell comes with almost 22 years of finance and accounting experience, including the past 12 years with Hillwood. Prior to joining Hillwood, Campbell spent 7 years with Deloitte & Touche, LLP where he played key roles in the real estate, energy and middle-market manufacturing practices. Campbell graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Texas, receiving Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Accounting. He passed the Certified Public Accountant exam in 1998, earning one of the top ten scores in the State of Texas.

He plays an active role in the Fort Worth financial community, serving as a past president of the Fort Worth Chapter of Financial Executives International. He also serves as a board member of the Fort Worth Metropolitan YMCA, the Tarrant County College Education Foundation, the Fort Worth Chamber Board of Directors, and is involved in various charitable and community-based organizations.

Steve Aldrich serves as Senior Vice President of Hillwood, the developer of AllianceTexas. He is responsible for leading the marketing, leasing and development strategy for the office, mixed-use and hotel product within the 26,000-acre AllianceTexas project.

During his 20 years at Hillwood, Aldrich has been involved with over 25 million square feet of speculative development, build-to-suit and leasing activities representing over $950 million in aggregate value. Since joining Hillwood, Aldrich has been a key player in the development of AllianceTexas which has grown from approximately 10 million square feet to over 45 million square feet. Aldrich has worked with some of the world’s largest corporations including Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, Charles Schwab, TD Ameritrade, DynCorp International, Textron, Marriott International, Amazon, LG Electronics, Grainger, and Walmart.com. Aldrich’s extensive marketing and development experience includes all aspects of real estate transactions including building development, leasing, sales, planning and large master-planned business park development.

Aldrich is a member of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas. He was awarded the Young Citizen’s Award by NTCAR in 2006 and he received the Heavy Hitters top industrial leasing broker award in 2008 and 2010 from the Dallas Business Journal.

Tony Creme serves as Senior Vice President of Hillwood, the developer of AllianceTexas. A member of the marketing and development team, Creme leads the planning and implementation of the industrial building program, the largest component of the 26,000-acre AllianceTexas project. He also works with new and existing corporate residents to understand their operational needs in order to provide the most effective solution for their distribution center and logistics requirements.

Originally from Syracuse, New York, Tony moved to Dallas in 1994 to attend Southern Methodist University. During the summers of 1996 and 1997, he served as an intern with Hillwood at the AllianceTexas project. Immediately upon graduating from SMU in 1998, Tony joined Hillwood full-time in the marketing department, with a focus on industrial and office leasing. His role has since expanded to include involvement in all facets of AllianceTexas, with a focus on industrial development and land planning. Creme now lives in Fort Worth, Texas with his wife and children.

During the past 21 years, Creme has been a key player in the growth of AllianceTexas. During his tenure, the development has grown from less than 50 companies to more than 500. He has worked with leading corporations such as Bridgestone/Firestone, Coca-Cola, XPO Logistics, Martin Brower, Stanley Black & Decker, The Home Depot, and UPS. In addition, he developed Hillwood’s largest speculative building in the AllianceTexas development’s 30-year history at over 1 million square feet, as well as the first build-to-suit office facility at Circle T Ranch for Chrysler Financial Services. Creme also led the headquarters site selection and development for Galderma Laboratories, Heritage Bag Company and Progressive Waste Solutions, formerly IESI, at AllianceTexas.

Serving as Senior Vice President with Hillwood, Robert Folzenlogen is responsible for oversight of the 26,000-acre AllianceTexas masterplan from a strategic vision and planning perspective. Robert works closely with Hillwood’s development teams, consultant groups, and jurisdictional partners in the direction of new development projects and regional initiatives. Joe Schneider serves as Vice President for Hillwood and is responsible for land and infrastructure planning, project feasibility, project management, entitlements and coordination with multiple governmental agencies. Schneider brings a wealth of knowledge in land development from his over 34-year career in the industry. He contributes a wide range of understanding for multiple project types, including industrial, office, corporate campuses, multifamily, retail, and more.

Schneider has worked with some of the nation’s leading companies, Amazon, Bell, Cabela’s, Charles Schwab, Chrysler Financial Services, Cinemark, Citigroup, Deloitte, Facebook, Fidelity Investments, GSA, J.B. Hunt, JCPenney, Kroger, Martin Brower, Mercedes-Benz, UPS, Discovery Land Company, and Walmart, in establishing their facilities and programs within the AllianceTexas development. Working hand-in-hand with customers, Schneider manages all land entitlements within city, county, state and federal requirements, obtains governmental approvals, coordinates infrastructure design and approvals, manages environmental compliance issues, and administers infrastructure and site development construction projects to ensure a smooth transition process for customers into their new corporate residence at AllianceTexas.

Prior to joining Hillwood, Schneider worked as a Civil Engineering Consultant for 15 years, primarily in land development and municipal facilities, in San Antonio, Houston and the Fort Worth/Dallas Metroplex. Schneider is a licensed professional engineer and licensed real estate broker for the state of Texas.

Eric Elrod serves as Vice President – Vertical Development for Hillwood and has direct oversight of the design and construction for office, industrial and retail build-to-suits, speculative buildings and customer facilities for the AllianceTexas development. Elrod brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in project management, including working with corporate residents, architects and contractors throughout the design and construction phases of new facilities. During his 10 years at Hillwood, Elrod has constructed over 7 million square feet in a wide variety of commercial buildings, consisting of industrial, office, retail, aviation and hospitality.

Elrod is an accredited LEED Green Associate with knowledge of sustainable design, construction and operations.

Mark Miller serves as Vice President of Hillwood and is responsible for retail development at AllianceTexas and surrounding areas, including these distinguished projects: Alliance Town Center, Frisco Station, Circle T Ranch, Lone Star Crossing, Westlake Corners, Union Park, and Harvest. AllianceTexas encompasses over 45 million square feet, more than 500 corporate residents, and over 61,600 employees.

Prior to joining Hillwood, Miller served as senior manager of investments for Regency Centers where he was responsible for negotiating a $100 million lifestyle center in Highland Village. He was responsible for more than $20 million annually of new retail developments throughout the Central United States. Miller also was instrumental in preparing site selection packages and developing tools to predict the sales, size and timing of shopping center developments. Miller began his tenure with Regency Centers in 1998 as a senior research analyst transitioning to the real estate investment side of the business in 2000.

Miller began as a research analyst with the North Central Texas Council of Governments where he provided demographic assistance to many North Texas entities. Miller also served as a research analyst for the Tangram Corporation developing analysis, mapping and database management for national retail and restaurant chains.

Reid Goetz serves as Vice President for Hillwood, a Texas-based privately held global real estate development company and has over 14 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Goetz has responsibility over the industrial and data center development programs at AllianceTexas, including development projects, master-planning, new business pursuits, acquisitions, joint venture opportunities, portfolio leasing and asset management.

AllianceTexas is recognized as one of the most unique master-planned developments in the United States, encompassing over 26,000 acres in North Fort Worth and within the 4th largest MSA in the country. Beginning as undeveloped Texas ranchland in 1988, AllianceTexas has grown to over 45 million square feet of commercial development to-date, is home to over 500 companies (70 of which are Fortune 500, Global 500 and Forbes’ List of Top Private Companies) and 10,000 acres of fee-simple owned land remaining for future development.

Goetz is actively involved in several philanthropic, educational and real estate organizations. Mark McHenry is responsible for leading Hillwood’s Multifamily division’s investment and development initiatives. McHenry has over 27 years of real estate industry experience including over 15 years of leadership experience involving the acquisition, development, financing, construction and management of over $2 billion and 18,000 units of multifamily development and investment. Prior to Hillwood, McHenry led regional multifamily investment and development operations for public and private companies holding senior management positions with national apartment REITs (United Dominion Realty Trust and Colonial Properties Trust) and private multifamily investment and development firms including JPI Development where he served as Regional and National Partner, and the Lane Company serving as Regional President and Development Partner.

McHenry has been involved with the planning, execution and management of over 12,000 units of Class A suburban, infill, mixed-use and student housing multifamily development in markets throughout the southwest and southeast regions of the U.S. In addition to his extensive development experience, he has been responsible for regional asset management and property management operations involving individual assets and Class A portfolios of more than 2,500 units. McHenry has led investment sourcing, acquisition and financing activities for development opportunities and stabilized assets involving a wide range of investment and financing structures. He has extensive experience leading investment strategy, analysis and underwriting, project planning and entitlements, financing strategy and structuring, construction management and project lease up and property operations.

Steve Boecking serves as Vice President at Hillwood, developer of the 26,000-acre AllianceTexas development in north Fort Worth. AllianceTexas is anchored by the Alliance Global Logistics Hub, featuring one of the nation’s largest intermodal rail hubs operated by BNSF Railway, two Class I rail lines, Interstate Highway 35W, and the world’s first industrial airport, Fort Worth Alliance Airport.

Boecking oversees the management of the 9,600 acre Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) #196 at AllianceTexas. Additionally, he is responsible for community relations and works to continually enhance the multimodal transportation infrastructure, supply chain services, workforce development, and economic benefits for companies within the development.

Boecking has been a featured speaker on Foreign-Trade Zones, Global Supply Chains, and Workforce Development at several regional and national conferences such as the National Association of Foreign Trade Zones (NAFTZ), the Council of Supply Chain Management (CSCMP), The Journal of Commerce (JOC), and more. Boecking also lectures on Global Supply Chain and International Trade for several university supply chain programs.

Mercedes Bolen serves as Director of Communications for Hillwood, developer of the 26,000-acre AllianceTexas master-planned real estate project in Fort Worth, Texas. Bolen oversees media and marketing strategies, communication strategies, customer relations, photography services and special events. In addition to the AllianceTexas project, Bolen also oversees these efforts for two additional Hillwood projects, Hillwood Urban and Frisco Station.

Specifically, Bolen develops and sustains brand recognition and quality for Hillwood, AllianceTexas, Frisco Station, Hillwood Urban, and development project sub-brands, including Alliance Town Center, Alliance, and Circle T Ranch. In addition, she is responsible for the creation and execution of all press releases, management of media relations, and creative, design and implementation of collaterals, web design, social media strategies and photography services for these projects.

With an emphasis on superior customer service and development of strong communication strategies with Hillwood’s customer and stakeholder base, Bolen also oversees customer events, community activities, special events, and customer-focused publications. Bolen comes with more than 15 years of experience, including the past seven years with Hillwood. Prior to joining Hillwood, Bolen spent five years as a Public Affairs Manager in the energy industry, where she oversaw public affairs initiatives in various areas throughout North Texas.

Serving as Business Manager at Hillwood, Joshua Griffith oversees the management and execution protective covenants for the AllianceTexas, 26,000-acre mixed-use, master-planned community stretching across 6 municipalities. Hillwood implements these protective covenant mechanisms by establishing a commercial association overlay across the various development areas within AllianceTexas and others to uphold quality construction, property beautification, and overall community longevity. These overlay areas encompass over 43 miles right-of-way, over 220 acres of common area, private rail lines, and a collective customer base of over 145 property owners.

Griffith also oversees the management of the 9,600-acre Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) #196 at AllianceTexas. The AllianceTexas development is unparalleled in its vision of a dynamic and diversified community. The project’s foundation is the Alliance Global Logistics Hub - an international trade and logistics complex offering inland port transportation options via one of the nation’s largest intermodal yards, two Class I rail lines, the world’s first industrial airport and connecting state and interstate highways. Stemming from this strong commercial base are corporate campuses, office complexes, tech and data centers, destination retail and entertainment venues, residential housing, schools, and churches. In total, the development encompasses over 45 million square feet, 507 corporate residents, and over 61,600 employees.

In addition to his core responsibilities at Alliance, Joshua is closely involved in Hillwood's strategic sustainability initiatives, including Frisco Station, a 242-acre high density, mixed-use community located in Frisco, Texas along the Dallas North Tollway. At build out, Frisco Station is anticipated to include over 5.5 million square feet of Class-A office and medical uses, 2,400 urban living units and over 330,000 square feet of destination food and beverage concepts.

Meggie Lowy is a key financial strategist for the Hillwood portfolio, responsible for overseeing the finance team, providing tactical analysis, financing and due diligence for the company. She is also directly responsible for securing and negotiating debt and equity for new developments, refinancing for existing projects, as well as maintaining our debt and equity relationships.

Since joining Hillwood in 2008, Lowy has sourced, negotiated and closed construction and permanent debt totaling over $1 billion. The diverse group of financings involved a variety of product types including multifamily, hotel, suburban and urban office, industrial, aviation, land, and retail as well as a variety of ownership structures.

A resourceful team member, Lowy is highly skilled in gaining access to and readily understanding relevant points of data. With nearly 10 years of commercial real estate and investment finance experience, her expert analysis provides clear insight and discernment in evaluating investment opportunities for the company.

Lowy graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M in 2005 with a B.S. in Economics and a minor in Business. She earned her Master’s in Commercial Real Estate and Land Economics from Texas A&M in 2007. While attending A&M, she obtained a Certificate of International Trade & Agriculture (CITA). She also graduated from the inaugural class of Leading Edge, the sister program to Leadership Fort Worth in 2009. In 2014 she graduated from UC Berkeley’s Women’s Executive Leadership Program. For her continued excellence, Lowy won the Fort Worth Business Press "40 under 40" award in 2017.

Vishal Gandhi serves as Controller for Hillwood, the developer of AllianceTexas. Vishal’s responsibilities include managing the accounting and reporting for entities comprising more than $2.5 billion in asset value. In addition, he oversees the daily accounting operations of a 24.5 million square foot multi-product real estate portfolio.

Vishal comes with almost 12 years of finance and accounting experience, including the past five years with Hillwood. Prior to joining Hillwood, Vishal spent seven years with Ernst & Young LLP where he played key roles auditing clients within the real estate, food and beverage distribution, and oil & gas drilling practices. His focus was real estate, which included real estate development, hospitality, multifamily, office and real estate funds. He worked with both public and private clients.

Vishal served in the United States Army for four years and left as a Sergeant. He spent 16 months in Iraq while in the Army.

Vishal graduated magna cum laude from the University of Texas, Arlington, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He passed the Certified Public Accountant exam in 2007 and is registered in the State of Texas.

As Vice President of Property Management, Doug Johnson is responsible for a portfolio of industrial, office, and retail properties, as well as other specialized real estate asset types for the 26,000-acre master-planned community, AllianceTexas located in north Fort Worth. In total, the development encompasses over 45 million square feet and 507 corporate residents, employing more than 62,000 employees. Leading the property operations, including capital budgeting and overall property management process, Johnson balances and fosters relationships with owners, customers, and business partners.

In addition to managing a dedicated team of property managers, facility engineers, and administrative assistants, Johnson oversaw the growth of Hillwood’s commercial property management business from 19 million SF to 23 million SF. Johnson also managed the growth of the multifamily property management business from 880 units to approximately 2,400 units total, including its expansion into the Frisco, Texas market.

Prior to joining Hillwood, Johnson was the Senior Vice President for C-III Asset Management where he led the hospitality REO asset management program. As Vice President of Northstar Realty Finance, Johnson pioneered the proliferation of commercial real estate CDO debt from 2004 to 2007, helping Northstar become the largest self-issuer of CDO bonds. Johnson’s background gained him a diversified background that covers all facets of real estate, including commercial, multifamily, and hospitality, as well as a rounded skillset in finance, capital structuring, asset management, and operations.
