With his extensive expertise in the aviation industry, Chris was selected to oversee the AllianceTexas Mobility Innovation Zone (MIZ) flight testing center and operations. Chris works with established global corporate leaders and mid-to late-stage, logistics-focused companies to encourage technology commercialization within the MIZ. Since opening the AllianceTexas Flight Testing Center (FTC) in May 2020, Chris has been instrumental in building relationships with the Advanced Air Mobility industry with civic and federal partners locally and nationwide. He has attracted multiple UAS companies to the FTC, including Fortune 100 companies, two Tier 1 universities, and other nonprofits. Most recently partnering with a global corporate leader to conduct flight test activity in the MIZ related to NASA International Organization for Standardization (SIO) testing.

Chris began his career with Hillwood in 1996 at Fort Worth Alliance Airport, the world’s first industrial airport, as a Line Operation Specialist, then Lead Operation Specialist. He was soon promoted to Manager of Airport & FBO Operations, General Manager, Vice President of Business Development & Customer Relations, successfully growing the airport’s fixed-base operation and management companies into a world-class operation.

Before joining Alliance Aviation Services, Chris was employed for three years at United Parcel Service (UPS) in the aircraft division as an Aircraft Load Master.
