Chris is a seasoned real estate professional with over 21 years of diverse commercial real estate experience including development, capital markets, asset management, and underwriting.
Immediately prior to Hillwood, Chris was a Vice President with Capital One Bank responsible for the management of over $1 billion in commercial real estate loans including over $750 million in committed construction loans. He previously was a founding member and served as Vice President to a national student housing development, general contracting and property management firm. His responsibilities included structuring equity and debt, asset management, coordination of development/construction, and general day-to-day operations of the firm. Chris has also served in various real estate related roles with JPI Development, Centerline Capital, and ORIX Capital Markets.
Chris once served as graduate assistant to the Texas Real Estate Center’s Chief Economist, and he currently serves on the Advisory Board to the Master of Real Estate program at the Texas A&M University – Mays Business School as well as the president of the state-wide Aggie Real Estate Network.
