Since joining Hillwood in 2008, Meggie has sourced, negotiated, and closed debt financings totaling over $3.4 billion and dispositions of over $1.13 billion. These transactions include various product types, including multifamily, hotel, suburban and urban office, industrial, aviation, land, and retail, as well as various ownership structures.
With over 16 years of commercial real estate and investment finance experience, her expert analysis provides clear insight and discernment in evaluating investment opportunities for the company.
Meggie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University in 2005 with a B.S. in Economics and a minor in Business. She earned her Master’s in Commercial Real Estate and Land Economics from Texas A&M University in 2007. While attending A&M, she also obtained a Certificate in International Trade & Agriculture (CITA). She is a graduate from the 2009 inaugural class of Leading Edge, the sister program to Leadership Fort Worth and graduate of UC Berkeley’s Women’s Executive Leadership Program in 2014. For her continued excellence, Meggie won the Fort Worth Business Press “40 under 40” award in 2017.
