Mike Berry named to the Dallas Business Journal’s Texas 100 list
Business leaders from Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Houston and San Antonio were recently recognized on the Dallas Business Journal’s Texas 100 list. The list, compiled by the editors of all four of Texas’ Business Journals, recognized our president, Mike Berry, for his bold leadership and critical decision-making skills. As one of 100 honorees, the list names those who are expected to help shape our state of business in 2025.
Business Facilities Magazine names Embraer a Top 2024 deal
In 2024, in partnership with the City of Fort Worth, Denton County and the State of Texas, Embraer invested $70 million into its new maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services network in support of its growing fleet of E-Jets at Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport. It was recognized as a Top 2024 deal by Business Facilities Magazine and earned the Impact Award in the aerospace category for its many contributions to the aviation industry.

Hillwood is honored to be recognized in three categories for the 2025 D CEO Commercial Real Estate Awards, including a nomination for Developer of the Year! This recognition is a testament to the vision, innovation, and collaboration that drive our projects forward.

- Best New Industrial Project Nominee: DICK’S Sporting Goods at Risinger/35 Logistics Park

Dallas Business Journal Names Hillwood as Finalist in its Best Real Estate Deals Awards 2025
Hillwood’s three projects were also selected as finalists in DBJ’s BRED Awards for 2025, which include the following:
- Best Commercial Property Sale Nominee: Freeport Business Center purchase
- Best Industrial Transaction Nominee: Dick’s Sporting Goods
- Best Single-Family or Planned Community Finalist: Landmark by Hillwood

2025 ACTE Business-Education Partnership Award Winner
This national honor by the Association for Career and Technical Education celebrates the impactful partnerships that support high-quality career and technical education (CTE). The award highlights the AllianceTexas Student Influencers program, a nine-month initiative led by Hope Bell and Sara Holloway-Hunton of the Customer Experience Team. This program equips local high school juniors with leadership skills, career insights, and hands-on experience through project management, networking, and public speaking opportunities. Now in its fourth year, it has become a cornerstone of Hillwood’s commitment to the education-to-workforce pipeline.
