Inspiring the Next Generation of Leaders

Hillwood has been active in workforce development and education on many fronts, helping to connect industry to education to further the pipeline from school to career.

Through this ongoing commitment, Hillwood is dedicated to a unique initiative that links companies with the future workforce by encouraging collaboration between business professionals and high school students. This initiative fosters the exchange of insights and ideas that will shape the future growth of AllianceTexas.

Hillwood’s AllianceTexas Student Influencers is a dynamic 9-month program that offers a select group of high school juniors from Keller ISD, Northwest ISD, and Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD the opportunity to be fully immersed in AllianceTexas, exploring careers in aviation, logistics, supply chain, innovative mobility solutions, and more. Entering the program’s fourth year, more than 90 students have gained real-world experience through facility tours, networking opportunities, and hands-on project planning as students prepare for the program’s capstone presentations. Throughout the program, students gain confidence, grow their professional network, and advance workforce proficiency in the public and private sectors.

Hillwood and many associated companies donate time to engage with students. Most recently, the program included collaboration with The City of Fort Worth, Fidelity Investments, Gulfstream Aerospace, Kiewit, Manna Drone Delivery, Medical City Alliance, and Topgolf Callaway.

The program, led by Hillwood’s Customer Experience Team, Hope Bell and Sara Hunton, will welcome the new class of AllianceTexas Student Influencers in September 2024.
