The 811,000-square-foot building at 3701 Litsey Road is the company’s largest U.S. distribution hub in its global network and 30 percent larger than the next biggest Henry Schein distribution center.

Henry Schein Chairman and CEO Stanley Bergman recently said of the move, “Over the course of our more than 90-year history, we have frequently reinvented the organization to meet customer needs, embracing new technologies and advancements. We are pleased to begin this new chapter of supply chain history at AllianceTexas. Our Fort Worth distribution center illustrates our commitment to holding fast to our enduring values while remaining focused on our future."

The distribution center in Fort Worth has 255 employees, including 95 percent retention of the Grapevine team. The new, expanded facilities along I-35W allow Henry Schein to continue enhancing supply chain efficiency and customer service.

More than 300 people attended Henry Schein’s ribbon-cutting event on July 10, including Hillwood and Perot Group Chairman Ross Perot, Jr., executives from Henry Schein, its supplier partners and area elected officials.

Perot noted, “Our goal is to help Henry Schein deliver the best quality patient care with even better supply chain efficiency and customer service. As with all our customers, we’re committed to Henry Schein’s long-term success. In fact, Hillwood is positioned to accommodate users of any size with next-generation industrial facilities across AllianceTexas.”
