The Connect March 2024
A Focus on Revolutionizing the Supply Chain
Hillwood recently hosted the third annual Forward Fort Worth mobility innovation summit, a gathering of 150 supply chain executives, entrepreneurs and investors from across the globe focused on advancing and commercializing mobility innovation throughout the supply chain.
With the growth of Hillwood’s AllianceTexas Mobility Innovation Zone (MIZ) and the collaboration between regional and industry leaders, North Texas and Fort Worth specifically have become the epicenter of groundbreaking implementations of cutting-edge supply chain technology.
Fort Worth, now the 13th largest city in the U.S., is a top hub for leading logistics and distribution companies due to its central location, deep labor market and pro-business environment. This, in turn, is helping to drive innovation and technology deployments.
“We’re at a critical point in history where collaboration is more necessary than ever,” said Hillwood Director of Logistics Innovation Ian Kinne. “For two days, guests discovered synergies and had meaningful cross-stakeholder conversations to serve their customers and communities better. There is no ecosystem like AllianceTexas and the Mobility Innovation Zone anywhere else, and Hillwood is honored to be the convener driving collaboration to further advance the commercialization of transformational mobility technologies.”
Mike Berry, president of Hillwood, kicked off the Forward Fort Worth program with Perot Jain Managing Partner, Anurag Jain at Hotel Drover in Mule Alley. Day Two programming included Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker and a keynote conversation between Raj Subramaniam, president and CEO of FedEx, and Ross Perot, Jr., chairman of The Perot Group and Hillwood.
