Hillwood Projects and Team Members Recognized for Regional Impact
Hillwood and several of its projects were recently recognized for their contributions to North Texas’ continued growth across logistics, advanced manufacturing, media production and long-term development.
Fort Worth Inc. honored Ross Perot Jr. and Mike Berry as Co-Persons of the Year, recognizing their leadership in helping shape AllianceTexas into a global logistics hub and major economic engine for North Texas. What began as a bold vision for an industrial airport has grown into a national model for public-private partnership and regional development.
SGS Studios at AllianceTexas also received multiple honors for its impact, scale and innovation. The project was named the 2026 Lease of the Year in CoStar’s Impact Awards for the Dallas-Fort Worth market, which recognizes standout commercial real estate transactions and projects across major markets in the U.S., Canada and the U.K.
SGS Studios was also recognized for Innovation in Real Estate & Hospitality by D CEO and was named Campus/Headquarters Deal of the Year by the Dallas business Journal. Developed by Hillwood in partnership with SGS Studios team, the 450,000-square-foot campus is the largest fully operational film and television production facility in Texas. With four state-of-the-art sound stages and full production infrastructure, the campus supports multiple major productions and is helping expand the film and production industry in North Texas.
Wistron at AllianceTexas was named Industrial Deal of the Year by the Dallas Business Journal. The project includes two AI-enabled advanced manufacturing facilities totaling nearly 1.1 million square feet. Backed by a $761 million investment, the project brings a Fortune Global 500 technology manufacturer to the region and further supports North Texas’ growing advanced manufacturing and technology ecosystem.
Hillwood was also named Developer of the Year at the D CEO Commercial Real Estate Awards, recognizing more than three decades of development at AllianceTexas and the company’s continued role in supporting strategic growth across North Texas.
