AllianceTexas Reaches $142.9 Billion in Economic Impact, Fueling North Texas Growth
As one of the nation’s most successful economic development models, AllianceTexas continues to demonstrate the power of long-term public-private collaboration, driving transformative growth and industry diversification across North Texas. Over the past 36 years, Hillwood’s 27,000-acre, master-planned mixed-use development has generated an estimated $142.9 billion in regional economic impact, including $12.9 billion in 2025 alone, according to Insight Research Corporation’s annual report.

Key Economic Impact Highlights from 2025:

SGS Studios: Hillwood partnered with Taylor Sheridan’s SGS Studios to develop Texas’ largest film and television production campus at AllianceTexas. The 450,000-square-foot campus can accommodate four major productions simultaneously. In 2025, Paramount Television fully activated the campus, producing Landman Season 2, which set Paramount+ viewing records, along with three additional series. The project has created more than 3,800 direct jobs.
- Wistron AI Advanced Manufacturing Facilities: Wistron, one of the world’s largest electronics manufacturers, is investing $761 million in 1.1 million square feet of AI supercomputing facilities at AllianceTexas. The project will create 800 jobs and further strengthen North Texas’ position in advanced technology manufacturing and the reshoring of critical industries to the United States.
- Embraer MRO Expansion: Embraer, a global aerospace leader, opened a new MRO facility at Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport and began operations in 2025, while also launching construction on a second hangar slated for completion in 2027. The $70 million investment will create 250 aviation jobs and increase Embraer’s U.S. service capacity by 53%.
- The Alliance Logistics District: The 1,400-acre Alliance Logistics District is a first-of-its-kind mobility hub within the Smart Port at AllianceTexas. Developed in partnership with BNSF and the City of Fort Worth, it supports autonomous and semi-autonomous vehicle deployment, CDL-exempt private hostler operations between the intermodal facility and nearby warehouses, and permit-free heavy-haul movements exceeding 80,000 pounds.
