The Connect November 2022
Hillwood’s Commitment to Sustainable Development
Hillwood joined City of Fort Worth officials and community members at a ceremonial ribbon-cutting on September 23, 2022, marking the grand opening of Alliance Park located at 3800 Litsey Road. Continuing the company’s commitment to providing ample green space throughout the AllianceTexas development, Hillwood donated the 154 acres of land needed to build this City amenity. In addition to the land donation, funding for the project was acquired from a 2014 and 2018 Bond, Texas Parks and Wildlife grants and park dedication fees.
The City of Fort Worth Park & Recreation’s newest community park is in phase I and II of the master plan and includes three competition soccer fields, bleachers with shade structures, a playground, a basketball court, walking trails, a pavilion and an expansive lawn. Alliance Park will also feature public art designed by local artist Anitra Blayton, who, for over two decades has given back to the community through her public art collaborations.
Hillwood’s AllianceTexas development now hosts 230+ acres of dedicated green space throughout, connected by more than 50 miles of the Arcadia Regional Trail System. Learn more about Hillwood’s focus on sustainability here.
