Steve Boecking

Vice President

Steve Boecking serves as vice president at Hillwood, developer of the 17,000-acre AllianceTexas development in north Fort Worth. AllianceTexas is anchored by the Alliance Global Logistics Hub, featuring one of the nation’s largest intermodal yards operated by BNSF Railway, two Class I rail lines, Interstate Highway 35W and the world’s first industrial airport, Fort Worth Alliance Airport.
 
Boecking oversees the management, operation and service provision of Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) #196 at AllianceTexas. Additionally, he works to continually enhance the multimodal transportation options, logistics services and economic benefits for companies within the development. Finally, he works closely with brokers and freight forwarders in developing the air cargo operations at Fort Worth Alliance Airport, including the Alliance Air Trade Center.
 
Prior to joining Hillwood, Boecking worked for Shoppa’s Material Handling. During his seven year tenure, Boecking served in a variety of positions including Sales Manager, Major Accounts Manager, and Parts & Services Manager. 
 
Boecking is an active member of several professional organizations. With the National Association of Foreign Trade Zones, he serves on the Foreign Trade Zone Automation Committee. Additionally, he is a member of the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce’s International Business Advisory Committee, where he serves as chairman of the Korea Task Force and member of the China Task Force. He is a co-chair for the North Texas Commission Logistics Committee and a board member for the Texas Logistics Education Foundation. Finally, Boecking serves as a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and is active in the organization’s local Dallas / Fort Worth Roundtable and received the 2007 Outstanding Contribution to the DFW Logistics Community Award from the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.
 
A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Boecking earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics.
