Robert Folzenlogen
Director of Planning and Design
Robert Folzenlogen serves as director of planning and design for Hillwood Properties, developer of AllianceTexas. Folzenlogen is responsible for oversight of the AllianceTexas masterplan from a planning and design perspective. AllianceTexas is a 17,000 acre mixed-use development which includes Alliance, Circle T Ranch and Heritage.
Folzenlogen works closely with Hillwood’s marketing and land development teams, consultant groups and local jurisdictional partners in the direction of new planning projects and oversight of the design review process.
Previous to joining Hillwood in 2006, Folzenlogen earned two Masters Degrees from Texas A&M University. The first degree in land development with an emphasis on mixed-use real estate planning and design and the second in landscape architecture focusing on master planned community deign and development. While pursuing his masters’ degrees, he completed a thesis project with Texas Ranch Partners LLC and interned with SEC Planning Consultants. Folzenlogen also served as a software project manager and consultant where he was responsible for defining, creating and launching new products and consultant organizations.
Folzenlogen earned a Bachelor’s degree in psychology as well as an MBA in finance from Texas Christian University.
