Robert Folzenlogen
Director of Planning and Design
Robert Folzenlogen serves as director of planning and design for Hillwood Properties, developer of AllianceTexas. Folzenlogen is responsible for oversight of the AllianceTexas masterplan from a strategic planning and design perspective. AllianceTexas is a 17,000 acre mixed-use development which includes Alliance, Circle T Ranch and Heritage.
Folzenlogen works closely with Hillwood’s marketing and land development teams, consultant groups and local jurisdictional partners in the direction of new development projects and oversight of the design review process.
Previous to joining Hillwood in 2006, Folzenlogen earned a Masters of Landscape Architecture and a Masters of Land Development from Texas A&M University. His education, research and employment while at Texas A&M was focused on the planning, development and marketing of mixed-use communities. Additionally, Folzenlogen received a Certificate in Health Systems and Design from Texas A&M. This Certificate provided expertise in the strategic planning and design of sustainable communities and public health systems.
Prior to Texas A&M, Folzenlogen served several executive positions within the IT enterprise applications and business consulting industry. During this 8 year career he was responsible for the start-up and management of software development and consulting businesses across the United States, as well as Europe and South Africa. His leadership positions allowed him to define, manage and grow strategic IT projects with some of the largest healthcare, financial services, manufacturing and retail corporations across the globe.
Folzenlogen earned a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, as well as a Masters of Business Administration in finance, from Texas Christian University.
