Mark Miller

Mark Miller serves as vice president of Hillwood Properties. Miller is responsible for the coordination and execution of retail development at AllianceTexas, including these distinctive projects: Alliance Town Center, Lone Star Crossing, Westlake Corners and Alliance Crossing. AllianceTexas encompasses 28 million square feet, over 170 corporate residents, 27,000 employees and more than 6,000 single-family homes.
Previous to joining Hillwood, Miller served as senior manager of investments for Regency Centers where he was responsible for negotiating a $100 million lifestyle center in Highland Village. Miller also was instrumental in preparing site selection packages and developing tools to predict the sales, size and timing of shopping center developments. Miller began his tenure with Regency Centers in 1998 as a senior research analyst transitioning to the real estate investment side of the business in 2000. As investments manager, Miller prepared the site analysis for investors, developers and customers. Miller was responsible for more than $20 million annually of new retail developments throughout the Central United States.
Miller began as a research analyst with the North Central Texas Council of Governments where he provided demographic assistance to many North Texas entities. Miller also served as a research analyst for the Tangram Corporation developing analysis, mapping and database management for national retail and restaurant chains.
Miller earned his Bachelor’s degree in geography from Texas A&M University. He also earned a Master of Science degree in applied geography and an MBA in finance from the University of North Texas.
