Bill Burton serves as a senior vice president of Hillwood Properties, developer of AllianceTexas®. Burton joined Hillwood in January 1989 and has been a key player in the transformation of AllianceTexas from raw ranch land to a 17,000-acre, master-planned development that is home to more than 200 major companies. AllianceTexas includes three unique projects - the commerce centers of Alliance, the corporate campuses of Circle T Ranch and the mixed-use community of Heritage. Combined, they offer world-class office, industrial, retail, educational, residential and recreational opportunities.
Burton oversees the office, industrial and retail development as well as marketing for AllianceTexas, which includes many from the Fortune 500, Global 500 or Forbes’ top list of private companies. He has directed build-to-suit and lease transactions totaling more than ten million square feet with companies such as Nokia Mobile Phones, Volkswagen of America, Hewlett-Packard, Daimler Finance, SC Johnson and Son, Honeywell and AT&T. In addition he has coordinated more than 1,300 acres of land sale transactions with companies such as Fidelity Investments, Intel, JCPenney, UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Ford, General Motors, KRAFT Foods and Citigroup.
Burton is an active member of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce and a 1990 graduate of Leadership Fort Worth. He also is a member of CoreNet, a developer associate in the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors and a member of The Real Estate Council.
Burton is on the executive committee of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Fort Worth and is past chair.
He is a 1983 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.
